About Me:

* Born and raised in a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. Currently living in Mexico with my partner and son.

*Favourite hobbies: bare foot nature walks, studying Yoga, Ayurveda & ancient healing traditions, traveling, and reading.

*Favourite times of the day are sun rise and sun set.

*One of my secret talents is… walking bare foot

In a linear time line, my Yoga journey started in 2011, when a series of intense life unfoldings guided me to seek a path of healing, which ultimately led me to my first Yoga Class. Within minutes of practicing asana, I knew I was in the right place. For the first time in years I finally felt like I was embarking on a path that served me and my higher purpose. After a few months of being a student of Bikram Yoga, I jumped into my first 200hr YTT which was Vinyasa based, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Living on the East Coast stirred up many emotions and guided me to deep inner healing. It was in Halifax, where I realised Yoga and Ayurveda would be my life companions from this point onward.

After a year of growth and expansion in Halifax, I enrolled in a 650 hr Ayurveda Training @ Kripalu, Massachusetts. While studying here, I was inspired by the beautiful Ayurvedic wisdom keeper, Vasant Lad G. The moment I met Dr. Lad G, there was no doubt that I needed to sit at his feet and absorb Ayurveda and Yoga under his guidance. New Mexico would be my new home for the next 3 years. The Ayurvedic Institute, incredible friendships, and magical memories will forever be in my heart. After the Ayurvedic Institute, my soul was still called to be in Albuquerque. I enrolled in NMSNT ( New Mexico’s School of Natural Therapeutics) and completed 950hrs of Anatomy & Physiology, TCM, Shiatsu, Ayurveda, Polarity, and Swedish Massage.

To be honest, I am not so keen on describing myself with titles becasue it feels limiting and like pieces of the puzzle aka my true essence are missing. To share a bit about myself though, through the lens of labels and trainings I am: a NAMA Board Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, 300 hr Ayur-Yoga Teacher, 200hr Vinyasana Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Yoga Alliance Registered Lucid. Life. Yoga School.

Currently, I am in Saskatchewan for the summer, sharing live Yoga classes in Alameda and White Bear + offering Ayurvedic Massages. The “plan” is to be in Canada until September, then return to Mexico with Noyo and Kailani.
